Choose the Right Place
To grow potatoes well, it is important to choose a suitable location. Potato plants usually grow well in the highlands, approximately between 1,500 and 3,000 meters above sea level. However, there are exceptions, where some potato plants can also grow well at altitudes between 500 and 800 meters above sea level. Altitude is closely related to the local climate which influences plant growth.
